Now that you've finished your Microsoft Outlook Express test-drive and decided to use it as your e-mail program, you can delete your previous e-mail program and its data folders from your computer. (Deleting your previous e-mail program is optional. If you have sufficient disk space, you can keep both programs on your computer.)
The next time you start Outlook Express, the Help menu will no longer include the End Test Drive command. In all other ways, Outlook Express will look and operate exactly as it did during the test-drive.
During your test-drive, Outlook Express automatically left copies of your messages on the mail server so that you could receive messages in both Outlook Express and your previous e-mail program. If you have a POP account, you can change this account setting so you no longer store messages on the mail server. Many Internet service providers (ISPs) have size restrictions on mailboxes, so if you continue to leave messages on the server, you might exceed your allotted mailbox size.
